All raw materials are from renewable resources such as bamboo, maize and sugar cane (bagasse or bagasse), etc. which means that their natural regeneration rate is very fast.
Taking in mind the current environmental situation and following a close collaboration with the United Nations, in the last 3 years CC&T has been developing a very serious work in promoting packaging products that refer a biodegradable and sustainable use for the environment, that was the reason to create a CC&T division as ECO CARIBBEAN.
ECO CARIBBEAN work for become a flagship company in the distribution, sale and use of biodegradable material and ECO FRIEND grade to replace the use of all non-degradable material that is used in massive quantities. According to the policies outlined in countries like Guatemala, we work to form a production base and / or distribution of these products in ALL THE WORLD that serve to empower the necessary policies of nature protection and contribute modestly to the preservation of the human being.

These products are certified by SGS, FSC, FDA, ISO22000, TUV, BRC, BSCI, OK compost, DIN CERTICO, B.V, special test also available.
BAGASSE is the residue of matter left after sugar juice is extracted from sugar cane. These remains have a large number of fibers that can be used to produce paper.
The products we work with are made from the residues of sugar cane sugar production (bagasse), have excellent mechanical strength, are resistant to temperatures of up to 100 °C and 120 °C for oil and water, respectively, are 100% biodegradable and can be used in microwave and cold ovens.

CORN STARCH or starch is a polysaccha arid that is obtained from grinding the different varieties of maize. It is usually part of carbohydrates that are regularly ingested through food; in the natural state it is presented as complex particles that, in the presence of water, form low viscosity suspensions. Its composition is mainly glucose, although there may be other components present in less quantity. Corn starch should be preserved and stored in dry, cool places and should not be in contact with strong odors. It is an extremely versatile ingredient, presented as a very fine white powder that has a characteristic flavor.
PLA is a bioplastic obtained from corn starch, potato starch or other plants. The PLA supports between -18°C and +40°C temperature, making it ideal for cold or warm meals and drinks. PLA containers, glasses and cutlery are not suitable for microwaves or ovens. It is a 100% biodegradable and compostable material. Manufactured with this ecological material we can find a wide range of products such as: pla cutlery, pla glasses, pla salts, pla jars, pla salad bowls, etc.
CPLA is a material obtained by PLA crystallization. After heat treatment, the thermal resistance of the product is greatly mproved. In addition, the surface brightness is high after crystallization, has a porcelain-like effect and is currently the best material to replace melamine.
PAPER, a natural product obtained by recycling plain paper and cardboard. It is a material that degrades and incorporates into the soil faster than other papers, partly because it is created from natural products.
